My name is Mugerwa Rogers, a male Ugandan citizen born in December 1986.I live in Wamala village Nabweru sub county Wakiso district. Uganda is located in the East of the African Continent. I am single,acathoric and a Muganda by trible. I neither smoke nor drink. I am effectively adstaining. I am at Makerere University under the Department of Community Education and Extra Mural Studies offering a course in PROJECT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT. Following this displine i prefer very much working with the NGO,Government and the entire Community as the course demands.
At the age of 6 years in 1993 i started my Primary academic education from Elim Primary School for 7 years and completed Primary seven in 2000. In this 7 year course, it marked a turning point in my life because by the end of it, both my parents had died from HIV/AIDs yet much was left to be desired.Mentor Volunteers Uganda{ MVU } sponsored for me the whole of secondary level for 6 years from ST. Francis Secondary School Nansana from 2001 to 2006. Completing my 'A' level in 2006, in August 2007 i enrolled in Makerere University on private sponsirship. MVU could not continue supporting me because of the large number of children she has to support. Currently i am affording my tution fee and other requirements through too much and excessively sweating. Had my parents been alive i wouldn't have been i such a miserable situation. I am working too abnormally straining yet iam earning very less which can not at this time sustain my basic necessities education inclussive. However i don't blame work because it is atool for Self esteem. In 1998 at the age of 11 years i lost my father, after 2 years i also lost the mother both to HIV/ AIDs.Good enough i was and i am HIV- and very much prefer to abstainance upto this University level
Iam a stonch volunteer working with a Youth Club called Lucia Youth Development Foundation. This is a youth club offering free Reproductive Health Services Straight and Young Talk copies inclussive. Iam also working with Mentor Volunteers Uganda {MVU} by provision of techinical and manual labour services to the needy people. MVU is Achild-Focussed Project for Orphans and Volunerable Children. I am one of such children but the Project vacated me after aquiring a large number of children to support. Presently i don't have a sponsor to support me at this University level yet i don't want to drop out. I kindly appeal to all Good Samaritans for assistance.
