In Wamala sub-parish many children are growing with academic knowledge, others dropping out of school day by day as aresult of poverty and inadiquate financial resources and orphanage lives which has bprimarily been responsible for children's ignorancyto reading andwriting. The sub-parish is characterised by Orphans and Volunerable Children including inffected and affected by HIV/AIDs, Children living in hardserous and chronic poverty, Children affected by armed conflicts, divorce, mentally and sexually abused children. Many children have been and continue to be traumatised by the loss of their parents. In Wamala sub-parish it is the order of the day to find Grand parents surrounded by afleet of grand children, Families headed by Adolescents, deing adults being nursed their children and orphans scartted among relatives. I urgently need to adress these problems by acquiring your support.
There is frequent and execessive consumption of alcohol, smoking of pipes and marijuana by the community members, breaking up of families and sepperation of couples is the order of the day causing inocent children to suffer from divorce cases. Sexually active culprits change sex partners like clothes which has exposed them to HIV/AIDs. Sexually habbited culprits prefer polygamous sexual relationships as adispline to result with many children as possible and they denounce the use of family planning methods reasoning that "it's amust for every female egg to be fertilised. Sex promiscuities are highly booming especially at night like commercial sex which depends on one's bargaining power, adultery for repay, fornication, defilement, concubinage. There are many cases of HIV widows and widowers remarrying young partner almost twice the victum's age negelecting the responsibilities of HIV test due to lack of near-by service centres.
